Micro interaction
We see loads of delicate interaction during this year, after becoming quite essential for the UX / UI in the past 2016. This kind of intaction helps enhancing user usability in our sites and apps. From loaders toanimated icons, these are useful for a better engagement and to offer information to the user at the same time.

When thinking in digital creation, color is a priority. Sparkling gradients, shadows and overlaps, using double-tone in images or using color legends on bespoke maps is getting so relevant.

More collaboration with better communication. Now that responsive design is common and mobile first rings a bell, collaboration between designers and developers is a must.
Next year will get rid of jpg and 12k of Photoshop layers, with their functional documentaion, to create dynamic visualization of prototypes. inVision is getting on the move as well as Marvel, UXPin and others.
